Black Masterbatch for Mulch Film — Thin-Gauge Agricultural PE Grade

Made at our plant in Huizhou since 2010. We compound black for mulch and silage film that is blown thin: even opacity at low gauge, no gels, and enough carbon to last the season in the field.

What we tune for mulch film

Mulch film is sold by area, so it gets blown thinner every year. The thinner the gauge, the more a gel or an undispersed particle shows up and tears.

Why film makers buy from our plant

Downgauging

Clean at thin gauge

Holds opacity and strength as you blow thinner, so you are not over-engineering the film.

Field life

UV-stable loading

Carbon loaded for a full season in direct sun, not just for a black appearance.

Commercials

Direct from plant

No trading-company layer. A firm factory quote and a faster answer.

De-risk

Trial roll first

Blow a trial roll on your own line before you commit. We keep your spec confidential.

Where it goes

Typical agricultural film applications our black masterbatch is compounded for:

Questions buyers ask

How thin can I go with your grade?

That depends on your resin, line and BUR. Tell us the gauge you want to hit and we will say honestly whether a standard grade works or we need to tune the loading and MFR for it.

Will the film block light properly?

Opacity is a function of carbon loading and thickness together. We set the loading so the film reaches full light block at your target gauge.

What is the smallest order you will take?

One ton per specification. Film makers typically blow a trial roll first, then order by the container once the gauge and opacity hold.

How fast can we get a sample?

Typically 5–10 days to most markets, with let-down guidance for your film line.
