Mulch film is sold by area, so it gets blown thinner every year. The thinner the gauge, the more a gel or an undispersed particle shows up and tears.

Mulch film is where dispersion stops being a quality metric and becomes the yield. At 8–30 µm, a single undispersed agglomerate is a pinhole, a visible speck and a tear initiation point in the same particle.

That depends on your resin, line and BUR. Tell us the gauge you want to hit and we will say honestly whether a standard grade works or we need to tune the loading and MFR for it.
Opacity is a function of carbon loading and thickness together. We set the loading so the film reaches full light block at your target gauge.
One ton per specification. Film makers typically blow a trial roll first, then order by the container once the gauge and opacity hold.
